Most drummers probably know the american groove drummer Bernard Purdie, bassists perhaps less. Many drummers were inspired by his inventions, in this clip you can listen to the same kind of groove that inspired John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) in "Fool in the Rain" and Jeff Porcaro (Toto) for "Rosanna", for example. One of my favorite drummers.
