No Man's Sky: Aquarius is free to download for existing players and introduces something we have been tempted to add ever since we stood on the shores of No Man’s Sky’s planets and looked out across their watery expanses - fishing!

Players can now explore the universe to find their perfect waterside spot, hopping with fish - sit and relax alone with their thoughts, or with fellow Travellers looking out over alien vistas waiting for a bite.

They are smartly testing out all their new features for Light No Fire in NMS and it's brilliant. Free stuff for NMS, and much more likely to have a finished product in LNF.

Concord shuts down after a few weeks and $200 million in development meanwhile this game made by a handful of people is still continuing to be supported. Sean and the team have done way more than just redeem themselves. Bravo.

This isn’t even the “Worlds Part 2” update, it’s just an extra little bonus update to tide us over while we wait for it. Hello Games is seriously just the coolest game company ever.

Dude, I've always noticed No Man's Sky everytime it goes on sale on steam and I never bothered. I knew how it has improved over the years and how it surpassed all its promises years before. After watching the 5.0 update, I was just sold. Thank you for all your hardwork and dedication, devs. I also conviced 2 of my buddies to buy the game. We're so hyped to play it over the weekend. You guys are amazing.

No Man's Sky is doing for free what most of the industry these days would charge through Games as a Service model.
But most wouldn't have content even remotely as good.

This is a Redemption Arc done perfectly. They managed to recover the good will and enthusiasm of the community. Everything for the past two years has just been adding cherries on top.

This looks like the perfect example of how a developer can work on new projects and have it benefit older ones. Bravo guys. This makes me excited for Light No Fire and that's a crazy thing to think about.

I just dont have the words. This small studio just churns out these massive FREE transformational updates. Its like a gift that keeps on giving. They have gone above and beyond - and then some.
