As a person who played since day one...and as a child grinding Wii Fishing Resort, I'm so happy and hyped for the smallest thing.

This adds a nice touch to the game and just keep building on the immersion factor of what can be done on planets besides just walking around, farming, etc. A nice filler content until Worlds 2. I'm excited to get that diving suit. Maybe that is a hint to deeper sea levels in later updates and maybe even Worlds 2. But either way, free update, with a lot of new neat content is really cool.

If they keep this up, No Man's Sky, and soon Light No Fire will be known as the best video games anyone could want with the best publisher behind them. Hello Games continues to pour their heart and efforts into their game, this is how they become the GOAT. Hello Games no doubt will continue this kind of Developer Support with Light No Fire. If/when this occurs HG and Sean Murray will sit pretty nicely among the top developers, putting to shame all the developing studios that have been riding their own or other's coat tails for years. With all the disappointments, rushed games/content, over reused assets, and general resting on their laurels that a lot of the giants of the gaming industry have been doing... It is really awesome having quality dedicated Developers stepping in and doing the gaming community right instead of just being in it for the money. You have earned our trust and devotion, Thank You @SeanMurray!

Im impressed that they pretty seamlessly introduced the new water physics so well.

I’ve been convinced for a while that NMS has been used as a testing ground for technology Hello Games is developing for Light Not Fire. If that’s accurate, I love that approach rather than releasing a game into Early Access for 6 years before we get a final full release.

I hope there’s more usefulness to the fishing outside of just getting through the arguably monotonous Aquarius expedition.

I love that they are giving more options for cozy, relaxing gameplay!
But I am sorry, I have to say it. That exo-skiff design is hilarious 😂
It has the shape of a small boat, but it has thrusters to make it fly just above the water.
I guess they had trouble with making it “float” and bob realistically if it was half submerged in the water like a real boat, so they had to make it hover above the water.
But I love and will gladly fish for many hours on it. Big thanks to Hello Games!

Yeah, the skiff is useless. Canopy doesn't protect you from storms. It barely hovers above the water. So when waves come, you get submerged, interrupting your cast and wasting your bait. I ended up finishing the expedition, just landing my ship on the water and then standing on it. Ship hovers much higher than the skiff so even extreme weather waves don't interupt your cast and you can quickly hop back into your ship to recharge your hazard shield.

That Exo-Skiff is one of the biggest disappoints of this update.. started off cool.. *oh yeah this installs to my Exosuit and has it's own inventory.. But then i realise we can't even drive the damn thing or even link it up too our Nomad!
