This is a rather short-sighted view point on the good Lt. Gen.'s part. One has to look at the bigger picture too. Let's see. China did not expect India to stand up for itself, which it has. It has forced India to buff up its weaknesses where they existed. This mistake by China is costing the Chinese a lot more than expected by them, economically and militarily - India (and other neighbouring countries) have taken away a lot of business from China and continue to do so and failures of Chinese military hardware have been exposed too. The extra costs and more are being recovered through the extra business brought in by the Chinese shenanigans. That said however, of the so-referred 2.5 war front, India has stood up to 2.0 with the remaining 0.5 still needing serious attention. Now that is the part both the China and Pakistan are focusing on. India (esp. its public) must address the 'enemies within' too.
