Beijing is cutting cooperation with Washington on various matters following U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan
On Friday China's foreign ministry announced eight countermeasures including sanctions on Pelosi and her immediate family members, in accordance with relevant laws.
Tensions are running high in the Taiwan Strait.
68 Chinese fighter jets and 13 warships reportedly crossed the median line.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged Beijing to back down... saying the military drills represent a "significant escalation."

As someone who is a sideline observer .. I think it's best for the taiwanese ppl to come to terms with the reality on the ground ! However painful it may seem at first. A political settlement is the only way forward with China. The taiwanese ppl and the Chinese government need to agree on a live together option instead of letting other countries to interfere and destroy lives !
