Just started with the Milwaukie, some things are just worth the extra dough.

What's great about the TStak is the drawers. I can build 5 foot towers that never need to be disassembled to access tools and uses minimal floor space. To load into vehicles, unclip them in the middle, split in two for ease of lifting. Packout constant unclipping drove me crazy.

This video is hilarious ! I have most of the systems or tried them all and after fiddling with the pack outs at every HD visit I did the same. If you’re busy and multitasking this is a must for organizing. Keep up the good vids !

Best vid comparison I’ve seen of the two systems. I’m a Tstak guy but appreciate your honest review. Love my Tstak’s. But the pack out looks nice. Checking out your other vids now. Thx!

I have had the t-staks for a year, they’re not as difficult to deal with as portrayed in this video.

The Dewalt TStack reminds me of the bins they sell at Arts and Crafts stores

I use T-Stak and I like them.
If I'll decide to change my tool organisers I'll have a look at Sortimo stuff. Bosch, Gedore and other brands uses them. And they have everything.

I have several Dewalt Toughsystem cases, I didn't really know much about Milwaukee Packout until recently. But there is really no comparison. I like the Milwaukee slim cases and I really like how I can simply mount cases on the wall too. I just set two wall mounting plates up, one with some packout hole saw sets and one with the Packout Toolbox, and have a crate on there too. Then made drawer on my workbench that I can pull out that has 4 slim Packout cases double stacked so I can open the bottom case without having to remove the top case. Very convenient.

I have the Pack out and while not perfect, it is very good and I am happy I spent the extra money for the entire set up.

I got the red Packout bins because I can find stuff in them much faster. The black bags and bins usually need a flashlight to find small items in them in new construction (the temporary lights are never great). I was dumping some of my black bags out on the floor several times a day to find stuff (I even tried painting the inside white) and figured the red bins were better. They let light in through the sides also (or seem to). My brother even got the wheeled stack for $50 off last year.

Im an Av and we use packouts for everything so useful. Only thing that sucks is when you need something on the bottom when you have a full set up.

100% right - how many tool boxes I’ve thrown away after a clip or hinge breaks ... and you end up using elastic bands or duct tape!

I saw a video of a guy driving a pickup over his Packout unit, has stress marks on the shell - but was still usable. 6 story drop - no problem.

I bought the rigid pro toolbox/storage system, and from what you've shown I think even it is better thought out then that dewalt system there. It uses metal loops for latches, etc. So it is more like the dewalt but in my opinion built to hold up better and almost a middle ground between both systems.

I keep my pack outs in the bed of my truck on the mounting systems and the waterproof seal definitely works. It’s been rained on hundreds of times, with water sitting on the top of the lid and never any rust or water penetration.

I was working in a living room one time and left my Milwaukee rolling box outside the front door so I didn't get drywall on it because I love keeping my packout clean. I come outside and to my surprise they had the sprinklers running during the middle of the day my packout was soaked! I have over 1k$ worth of tools in it so I was a little worried. I opened it and not a single drop of water got in. Super glad I invested in the packout not a single day have I regretted it. When 1 tool costed 200$ why not just spend the little extra to have THE best modular storage system.

Yes it is. I have both and slowly getting out of t stack. Milwaukee drawer units when available should finish off the transition

Exactly the video I needed. Not sure if the packout was worth the extra money but clearly it is

I may have gone packout if they had the drawers when I needed a system. I have quite the tower of tstak drawers now for both shop work and then pull what I need for the occasional install or punchlist task. For repair and punchlist typically work in tight areas and have to move a lot so the drawers are essential for me. My entire tool kit are stacks on a 4 foot long convertible hand truck. I roll in, do what I need to do and roll out. On the past few installs I have been fortunate to have a drawer full of 10 batteries that I can swap out as my tools use up the charge. I no longer pack any extension cords or even the charger. We live in a amazing time. putting some shims under the corners of the t stack saves the bottom drawer. the have the alignment pins too far in under the drawer, but it does hep dewalt sell the base carts.

I use a combination of Makita and Milwaukee tools, and love the Milwaukee Packout. Close to an addiction at this stage.
