After Dog bite - 1st wash the wound thoroughly with tap water and a lot of soap.. 2nd go to a doctor or hospital to get Tetnus and Rabies Vaccination and follow up with 2 more doses. 3rd - watch the dog that bit you for 7 days, if the dog dies within 7 days the dog had Rabies. Else its fine not every dog is Rabid but make sure you get all 3 doses in time. In Delhi tetnus shot cost ₹50 and 1 Rabies vaccine cost ₹350 - ₹400. Hope the information is helpful #peace

Don't ever take rabies lightly!
Last year a street dog licked my hand while feeding him, but the place where he licked has a small but open cut so i visited my doctor next day and he said that's a very wise decision that u came for vaccination. Btw that was my second time i took rabies vaccine, i also got bitten by a dog few years ago.
