I love Samyang brand. I have tried almsot every flavour except for three, bulgogi rose and Kimchi Tangluccine and Rose Buldak Noodles. That being said I really want to try the rice cake versions but sadly they have 0.1% ethyl alcohol on the rice cakes so I can’t eat them. I don’t know if the alcohol is like just a coating to protect the rice cakes or is it something that happens when making rices cakes. Until I find out I don’t think these are Halal.

I also don’t know if rinsing the rice cakes is enough to remove the alcohol or does the alcohol get absorbed in the rice cakes. When in doubt it is better to leave that food item until we are 100% certain it is Halal.
