Rice Paper Tteokbokki

Can’t find rice cakes near you? No problem :) Here’s a fun alternative to try!

rice paper tteokbokki ingredients ~

Large bowl of cool water
15 rice paper sheets
3 mozzarella sticks
½ cup dashi (sub chicken or veg broth)
1 tsp gochujang
1 tsp Korean soy sauce
½ tsp gochugaru
1 Tbsp oligo syrup or sweetener of choice
½ tsp sesame seeds
Drizzle of sesame oil
3 scallions, chopped

You know I've only been using rice papers for bi weekly spring rolls with peanut curry. But now I'm realizing I have a munch more versatile ingredient than I lead myself to believe.

I still come back to this recipe to make mine and they’re still always delicious! I add a little bit of kewpie mayo and it gives it almost a cheesy consistency! ❤

red pepper paste

soy sauce
pepper flakes
sweetener
maybe some water
*let it sit*
sesame seeds and oil

Looks tasty, you can make rice cakes Tteokbokki out of sweet rice flour water and salt tho . This looks like it is yummy either way
