For a brake system use both front discs and calipers off the CBR1000RR that will be more than sufficient. Include the master cylinder from the front brake lever in the system and it will work a treat 👌🏼 it may be easier to use the brake lever itself and brake using your hand rather than foot to save modifying 👍🏼 only problem with that is if you need to grab the clutch the same time you won't have a hand on the steering wheel so may be forced to modify it to be used by foot! I'm sure you'll work it out bro 😉 keep the cool content coming 😎

Front caliper from a street bike
I used a sporters Front caliper and had excellent brakes on a race mower

This thing's shaping up to be a beast, Kyle. Someone already beat me to the disc brake from a bike. I think that will work. Boy, for a Fabio look-alike, you're tough as nails! First time I had to push that mower back home, my old ass would have been done for the day.😉 Way to hang in there, man. Your determination is some of the best I've seen. Here's that thumbs up Geena requested.👍 You earned it. Go #teamraceteam!

I did the EXACT brake setup on my mower and it didn’t work cause of the little leverage haha I ended up going with a hand brake on the right side of the mower, a ton more leverage! And works mintttt 👌🏼

Hey, put that little lathe to use and machine a piece of delrin down to make a chain guide. We use to use something similar on our down hill mountain bikes for the big ring

Crazy how are weather is pretty much the same. -22°C (-8°f) here this morning, but we have closer to 18cm (7") of the white stuff already. I am sure you will get that rig worked out. It is a beast!!

You might consider putting a hotter plug in that race tractor thing you keep playing with. It will burn hotter & put a little more heat in the block for the winter months. Good luck V-man

living in montana I know exactly how cold that is as it snowed 18 inches in 24 hours and it was -18c, so im right there with you, but that also means its ski season baby

Minus 15c, Kyle? The coldest here in North East Scotland was in 2010 for 3 months! We live in a 250 year old cottage with no heating... it got to -19c in the hall, kitchen & bathroom! The bedroom & living room got as high as a balmy -14c 🥶🥶🥶

I can hear the turbo spool slightly, but I don't think its got enough oomph to get the turbo really going.

Bro, use a honda front rotor and caliper. Weld a cub to the axle and throw the caliper on there. Ez!!

Just build a lever with a metal pad on it that touches the tire for a brake. Keep it simple for a temporary thing

I'm pretty sure you can make the existing brakes work with a bit more efficient mechanical leverage and ofcourse the tiny possibility of some bubbles still trapped in the system, I usually inject brakefluid from the air nipple at the disk, tends to be the most reliable from what I've seen :)

Born and Raised in Hawaii and lived in Northern Navada for a short bit, and experienced -20°F. It was honestly, AWESOME! Hahahaha🤘🏾🤙🏾

Mount the brake master in a way that you can make a lever on the pedal for more leverage
