Reasons to main ridley:

as a ridley main, I can agree. At least his up smash covers nearly all ledge options. It has a hitbox as big as the a platform, and hitting down b is the most satisfying thing is a ridley main

I've maimed Ridley since the game released and, in casual/quick play matches, I'm damn good at landing Skewer. It's then just a case of guessing which way they roll

The problems with Ridley, such as his slowness and size, basically just get cancelled out/countered by the sheer strength and range of his attacks

Comedically enough, the Steve up smash clip, most characters would’ve gotten hit by, because ofc since Steve isn’t good enough, there’s a hitbox on the final swing of the pickaxe in up smash
