Thank you! I wrote to Dometic twice for advice on how to roll up a power awning that’s stuck open (I.e.- no power). In response to my first outreach They shared technical manual that offered NO troubleshooting advice. My second outreach resulted in them saying the problem would need a technician to fix as owners aren’t up to the task (I.e.- owners aren’t smart enough to effect a fix).
Your solution is elegant simplicity. Every TT owner I know has a cordless drill for leveling the trailer, so getting a 3/8 socket is no problem.

If the awning doesn’t retract manually what does that usually mean? Is there gears in the box?

Hey Jr. My Flagstaff Micro awning topper has the spline coming out about 4" now. Question 1. Would that be still under warranty. Micro Lite is a 22 model. Question 2. If I completely remove the tension could the spline be pushed back into the channel. Why is the spline coming out in the first place. Thanks for all your great videos!
