I just tried this for my lunch box and tasted amazing! i still need to get the hang of how much pepper and salt to mix with the flour but came out perfect!

Thanks for this recipe. Tried this yesterday and failed miserably. Sadly I added too much water and didn't filter the oil properly. I tried this with the addition of another type of mushroom (grey oyster mushroom) which I bought while picking up the the endangered tempura at Tesco (I think everybody's trying your recipe in my place) Hopefully my next attempt will be a successful one.. as soon as I'm allowed in the kitchen again :D
