How to connect to MySQL database through windows Command Prompt Console.

That means, fire up "cmd", and type: mysql -u root -p -h 127.0.0.1

Please guys you will forgive me for the silly mistake I made in the video.

You don't need to put your password after -p. Only enter the password when you are prompted to do so.

Syntax:: mysql -u root -p -h 120.0.0.1
Then Enter Password.

Hi Oston. I like your video. Not 100% sure however when you create a new database you might use " CREATE DATABASE IF NOT EXISTS youtube".
This way if you try to create a new database you will not over write a database that you may have created with the same name already.
You should get an error.

If you had a database called "youtube" and you create a new database called "youtube" the second will delete the first and you will lose your data from the first.
