That cover over the bathtub was brilliant. I wish I had thought of that when I was doing my remodel. Much better than having a step stool half in and half out of a bathtub and still not being able to reach what you need.

I would not use a reciprocating saw to cut out drywall. the mains power line to my house comes in behind the shower wall in my house. If you hit that with a reciprocating saw, you probably won't be walking away from it. Use an oscillating saw with a drywall blade instead.

Beautiful work as always Pat. You were smart to have your buddy do the tile. I've done many of those tub/shower surround tile jobs and they ain't fun. Your project turned out stellar, something to be very proud of. Out of curiosity, what was the total time you had in this job? Was this a nights/weekend job or was this your full time gig from start to finish?
