Anemia here and he's right. I've always had cold hands and feet and when people notice, they always try to make me feel better by saying, "Cold hands, warm heart! 😊"

And yeah.. It makes me feel better. 😂

My hands and feet would get so cold that they were painful. One day my eye doctor saw my hands and wrote a doctors note to my doctor, saying I have a condition called Reynolds.

I have Raynaud's which does the same thing... cold hands and feet.

Something nobody has been able to explain is thermodynamically how is it possible for your hands and feet to become colder then the temperature of the environment?

Because thermodynamically it should be impossible for your body to act like a refrigerator. Where does the coolant come from?

I can understand blood flow not going somewhere the temperature of the extremity to fall down to room temperature but I don't understand how it's possible for it to become less than room temperature.

Furthermore the way of refrigerator works is the heat from one place is taking to another so if your hands are extremely cold or your feet where does the temperature Exchange occur?

i have many many medical problems and i remember when they first got recognized that my doctor and even mom said my body was in fight or flight mode 24/7 it still is but not as bad as it was now that we have done a lot to help. but it wasnt from just the coldness it was the anemia that was what got helped at the last second

There is another reason called
Raynauds Syndrome which makes your feet and hands always cold what it dose is it puts the warmth to yours organs which it a good thing so example your in a survival situation who's going to survive longer a person with cold hands or warm hands the person with cold hands will survive longer

I have SLE, and raynauds is par for the course, among many other unpleasant ailments. Hands, feet, nose, butt cheeks. 😂 Cold as ice.

I have anemia (diagnosed by a doctor) and I dont have cold feet nor hands, so you can have anemia while not having this exact symptom. U can have whiter skin and mucosas. Anemia can also make people EXTREMELY tired, it seems like u can never sleep enough

Anemia -

A condition in which the blood doesn't have enough healthy red blood cells. Anemia results from a lack of red blood cells or dysfunctional red blood cells in the body. This leads to reduced oxygen flow to the body's organs. Anemia sufferers often experience cold hands and feet even in warm weather because of poor circulation. Less blood is delivered to the limbs, leaving them feeling cold.

Reynauld's Syndrome -

A condition in which some areas of the body feel numb and cool in certain circumstances. In Raynaud's phenomenon, smaller arteries that supply blood to the skin constrict excessively in response to cold, limiting blood supply to the affected area.

I heard this happens with anxiety and with overthinkers because more blood is going to the brain as they are thinking about things more then others but this could also be something stupid that I fell for 😂😂

My feet get so cold that a thermometer will not pick up the temperature of them.

Doc says no, but I live in Florida and I wear LAYERS because I'm always cold.
I've given up on getting a diagnosis.
It's just weird, I never get too hot.
Not even after the hurricane and no electricity for 2 weeks 🤷
