Well, almost all the piano scenes are animated correctly, they deserved a break lol

It’s obvious that they needed to see him playing aggressively from that angle, but it wouldn’t turn out so intense if the white keys, which are the only ones that can be seen from that angle, would be pressed just a few times. However, playing keys without Kai pressing them is something really disappointing.

Ive seen people play the actual song and i know the pinky on the left hand is supposed to stay kinda glued to one note in that part

Personally I know they didn't animate this right but, I don't think you transcribed it right either. I'm pretty you can see of the character's fingers hitting keys yet no white notes are moving at times. With the position of the camera, and color of the piano it's hard to tell they are pressing the black keys by looking at the piano.
