For me the whole bond market seemed very confusing but then when I did a little research I found that in actuality it isn't that complex. But on it's surface I understand all the confusion. Great explanation!

Please remember that the bond issuer (lender) only gets the cash from the initial sale of the bond.
Resales of that bond will affect the effective yield of the interest and maturity payments to the bond holder, but have no effect on the bond payor.
Thus, a bond may be resold at a negative yield, which has no affect on the pre-determined amount of remaining coupon payments and the final maturity payment.
Similar principle applies to buying stock: Unless it is sold in an Initial Public Offering (IPO), stock share sales do not affect the corporation; a stock holder is selling his shares to someone else.

moreover, where it gets tricky to explain to people is that central banks are also pushing down interest rates to make governments with bad balance sheets be able to afford their debt and to prevent debt defaults in the private sector which would cause massive deflation.

Low interest rates hurts savers, modest behavior, while gluttony stays drunk. We're smart just for making the observation. Next week, next year, this ends badly. Obviously manipulation too a level gross level. On the bright side, silver is so cheap it's like picking up pennies off sunset strip, I advise that and goats, fishing poles and guns.
