I test drove the 2017 model a few months. It's a white knuckle ride for sure. You get to your destination fast because everyone moves out of its way. I honestly believe for a very short while I was probably the fastest car in the UK on the motorway. I hit *** Mph in a blink if an eye. For the price it cannot be beaten.

Knight Racer didn't have the best reputation a few years ago when I owned my GTR. Mine had a stage 2 tune from Litchfield and that had 620bhp without all the silly blow off valves and it still had cats so would pass the MOT, this one won't.
I hardly ever ran it in full blow 620bhp mode though, far too much for the crappy roads in the UK.

Cool part on owning an GTR, beeing an car addict, is you're always facing the fact that quadrizillions of $$$ get burned if your tuning goes wrong. That helps keeping that modbug itch under control😂👌🏽

This is very interesting to show in my recommendation. I have a GTR that is modified, but selling and getting a stock one. Because it failed emission test due to its tune ECU. I dont have the stock intake system anymore. So even if I reflash the ECU to stock, it will throw codes such as “too lean” due to air fuel mixture. I love modified cars but with the government trying to restrict us. Modified car is just not an option for me anymore. I’m happy to enjoy a stock sports car that I can use to drive from point A to B. I’ll leave the crazy builds to the professional and youtube influencer. 🤙🏼 love this topic 👏🏻

What the M2017 needs is a better chassie for track purposes. Part from that, not so much mods required. Even the stock exhaust is actually very nice

HOLY FUCK those turbo noises are bliss!! I would definitely have the Knight Racer GT-R! Its got so much character and its loud and it shoots flames. Thats exactly what I love in a GT-R.
