What it cost me to have my 351W block, heads and crank finished at the machine shop

Last engine I had bored I paid a premium price of $8/hole. Now I just watch marketplace for those who have already had the machining done and are taking cents on the dollar because they've changed their mind about how they're going about it.

I’m in SOMD. What shop did you use? What things would you exclude if you were doing a budget build?
