How to reduce an augmented matrix to row echelon form?

By using a technique in linear algebra called Gaussian elimination, a matrix can be systematically shaped into echelon form. A matrix that is in echelon form must meet two conditions:

condition 1: the first non-zero element in a row must be 1
condition 2: the leading coefficient must be to the right of the leading coefficient in the previous row.

This tutorial will cover and demonstrate an example of row echelon form.
