I've been trying to understand this for a while and I have to give up credit for having the clearest explanation of this process. The most helpful is when you wrote the steps in blue to show the work. As another person said, the volume was low.

Dude that was awesome. Almost got lost when you were using the fractions, but I was alright. Trying to study for the 基本情報技術者試験, and this kind of math is in it. I like how you dress up like an OG teacher too. Anyway, thank you! Gonna make some practice problems for myself now...

i cant see how your argument turns into 11/5..

surely you made an error when trying to make -11/5 to equal 0 you divided -11/5 by -5/11 which equal 4.84. wouldn't you either multiply by its reciprocal or divide n by itself -11/5 divided by -11/5 = 1 or -11/5 * -5/11=1
