Honestly, the tipping culture in America is horrible. Underpaid staff are hoping and expecting people to tip just so they have a reasonable source of income. It's just not right.

I remember hearing once that tipping was as bad as it was now, yet people just didn't care and never tipped. That loss of revenue for staff broke the system (somehow) and the pay was forced to be raised, honestly it might be a good idea to do that again.
But tbf Ive never fact checked that lol, just remember hearing it a while back.

Tipping in Europe isn’t like America it’s not a customary thing it’s for servers and waiters that did an excellent job in severing us not a customary thing that has to be done because scummy business and restaurants refuse to pay there workers a living wage
