Dear Lovelies, Thank you for correcting my definition of sublimation. It is the change of state from a SOLID to a GAS. I filmed so many takes repeating the definition that by the end of it I said the wrong the thing, and in editing I didn't even notice. Ha! Well, ain't that life for you. 👏🏼

I thought sublimation was when a molecule SKIPS a phase ie: solid to gas. Going from liquid to gas would be evaporation.

Also: Sublimation is the transition of solid to gas: so ice chunks turn to water vapor and get removed by the pump.

sublimation is going from the solid state to gas state (you don't go through the liquid phase at all)
