I definitely hope that it will kinda work like a beacon. Like you can select the monolith, set its range of effect and then select something like Status buffs or handicaps, or maybe it just gives good/bad traits if you are in its range. It would be really cool to see that 🥺

My opinion is that the monolith will land in a random city, and grant whoever passes close to it the genius trait, similar to how the monolith from 2001: a space oddesy gave knowlage to monkeys

Notice how when you look at months in the new update each month has its own parody name (Greguary = February) except April where the month says “Monolith”. Maybe something is going to happen with the monolith in April?
