Pan Am flight 914: The MYSTERY Debunked In 8 Minutes

If movies like Back from the future teach us one thing, it's that time travel is certainly an exciting concept. I mean, who wouldn't like to have a chance to take a break from the present to venture into the future to see how everything turns out.

Which brings us to the question- is time travel possible? Passengers on the mysterious Pan Am plane had a chance to answer that question when the plane landed 37 years after taking off.

The case of Pan Am Flight 914 has driven historians and skeptics crazy for years.
It all started on July 2, 1955, when Pan Am Flight 914 was scheduled to take off from its airport in New York. It was a normal day, with clear skies and everything needed for a successful flight. As far as everyone involved knew, it was going to be a routine trip to Miami, but boy, were they wrong.

Just a few minutes after take-off, something mysterious happened that changed their lives and history as we know it, forever. Pan Am Flight 914 vanished. Yep, you heard that right.

Pan Am 914 was never ever used from New York to Miami. 914 has always been Chicago to Los Angeles. Quick sum-up. this whole story is utter bullshit. It is also not reported missing, neither has a DC-4 from Pan Am ever disappeared.

Tbh the biggest mystery to me about this story has always been why the pilot would fly away after hearing it was 1992 lol. The plane's dissappearence is easier to believe for me

The saga of Pan Am Flight 914 is a work of fiction that originated with Weekly World News, a notorious tabloid that operated between 1979 and 2007 (the tabloid would later relaunch as an online-only publication).

Just for one, what would be the odds of the same plane going into a worm hole twice? If it were that easy it would be happening way more often and would be way more similar accounts.

Man. Imagine being able to see 37 years into the future from the 50s?

That's so sad for the passenger and crew families. If the plane actually went missing in the first place!

Another unknown story is that in 1992 there was an elderly man who was well known to staff at Miami airport for hanging around the arrivals area holding a piece of card with a name on. Apparently he was a taxi driver who'd been waiting for someone on this flight since 1955. He just thought the flight was overdue and was pissed when he found it had gone to Caracas instead.

If it was real, where are the interviews to some of the survivors? Wouldn´t it be a great shocking news an interview of this kind? Then, almost 30 years after the publishing of this news, How come nobody has ever made an effort to find any survivor to interview her/him?

When a plane lands 30 years before it takes off, that would freak everyone out! Haha, if that happened, they wouldn't let anyone involved go home, and we would never hear about it!!..

What a ridiculous story from top to bottom. I have nothing but contempt for people who heard this story and actually found any of this plausible. I'm glad there is a video debunking it as opposed to remarking on how "amazing" of an unsolved mystery it is.

Scientifically and and astronomically speaking time travel is 100% possible. You need to be moving fast enough, like the speed of light. So if you move at the speed of light for 10 years then it would be like 1000 years in the future on earth. The international space station has traveled forward in time but only by a couple of millionths of a second. Crazy stuff

Did anyone notice apart from me that one article shows landed in 1985 and the other one shows 1992...?? Something jist doesn't add up. A pilot doesn't jist disappear. They land the plane and await for further instructions. Or am I wrong?

I’m not sure if I’d want to be on that flight or not

Although, Rod Serling likely became aware of Flight 914's disappearence, he would have had fun making a Twilight Zone episode of the aircraft's return in 1992. Unfortunately for Rod, he passed in 1975.

They forgot to include the part where pilot saw a unicorn on a magical rainbow with lots of glowing butterflies 😂

It's two separate episodes of Twilight Zone combined: The one whereas plane goes back in time and sees dinosaurs and the one where a missing plane lands at a U.S. airport by itself...and no one is on board.

I was flying in 55 one plane was a Strocruiser. They were so awesome and so primitive now looking back. The airlines would baby sit me on my flights. Walk outside in any kind of weather and climb the portable stairs to get on the plane. Lots of cigarette smoke and plenty of drinks as I remember noticing. So long ago.

Even though it’s entirely possible to travel forward in time (at the speed of light). It’s (unfortunately?) not at all possible to travel back in time because it’s impossible to *reverse* the speed of light
