"Je suis sur une chaise longue à la plage". I don't know any Turkish, but it might be the same as in Dutch where you almost never use the verb "to be" here. Rather, you use one of the possession verbs: liggen (lie down), zitten (sit), staan (standing). If you would use the verb "to be", it would sound extremely unnatural: "ik ben op een lange stoel op het strand"... Way better is: "ik lig op een lange stoel op het strand". If Turkish is the same as Dutch here, it might have been the reason why Mustafa used "lying" as well.

Helene, there was a misunderstanding over there, we use “abajur” (abat-jour) just like you use in French. It is only the top not the whole :) and merci beaucoup pour les videos dans Easy French. Vous, tous l’équipe, nous aidez beaucoup 🙏🏽

As I'm half from there, I would like to learn Turkish after reaching a good enough level in French. So, it's reassuring to know that I'll have a head start if I say certain French words in my mum's accent 😀.

@EasyFrench You should do the same with French and Russian, Russian aristocracy spoke French for centuries (just like Turkish aristocracy did), so there is a lot of overlap. For Turkish and French you could also use: la valise ( Turkish: valiz), le coiffeur (Turkish: kuafför) etc. I speak Turkish and Russian and I am learning French now. @EasyTurkish @EasyFrench, thank you both!

Oh now I want to learn Turkish as well. I don't know why but I find it similar to Japanese speaking of the pronounciation of certain words I don't know. And I always thought they were pretty close to Arabic but not so close at the same time? Anyways, I love it already. Keep doing more streams both of you!

Btw j’ai commencé apprendre la langue française . Pour moi, c'est une langue magnifique mais très très difficile à écouter et à écrire. Je regarde des vidéos “Easy French”. C’est très utile ^^
