There are a lot of similarities with Romanian words too: "alianță", "abajur", "ascensor", "birou", "dantelă", "bandă", "jachetă", "afiș", "ambalaj", "anchetă", "antricot", "asfalt", "avocat", "baraj", "barieră", "beretă" (for "bere" and respectively "beret", but we also have the word "bere" which means "beer"), "beton", "biberon", "biftec", "bijuterie", "bilet", "bluză", "bufet", "bulevard" and many other words not mentioned here. Romanian language has a lot of loanwords from French, Turkish and many other languages and the words are read exactly the way they are spelled/written. We also have the letters "ș" and "î" (which reads like that short "i" in Turkish).
