me personally, I would trust Google with my money before OnePlus. Call OnePlus and ask for a replacement and see what they tell u. I don't want that hanging over my head for 3 years personally. But y'all have at it.

Idk. I think P8a looks unique, simple & comfortable. It got it's own style. Chinese phones looks trendy & overly design. It's like P4a, P5 or P5a. It feels like no phones ever look like these. Anyways. just my thought.

My Samsung flip did the fold crack and had too dust of my pixel 3 of and wow still performs good, okay brightness a little dull . I mean haven't used it for years but still okay in everyday use . after seeing the Elo blind test I pressed the Amazon button and got me a pixel 8a . Lucky me special tax zone 453 EUR

I like a compact phone and with the long software update and pixel have it, but they not officially sold in my country, a little bit disappointed of that 😢

I went from a Samsung A52s 5G to the 8A. Happy so far, it is faster, it has better camera. And since its vanilla google android, I do not have to wait half a year to get a new version of Android

I like the Pixel 8a, but... sadly it's not available officially in my country, so if I want it, I'll have to import if it, which makes it subject to import taxes and shoots up the price until more than the regular Pixel 8 and even more than the basic Galaxy S24

I don't understand why people all an all glass phone premium... soon as it slips out of your hand it's over. The 8a has fR better battery life than the 8 that means something to me

There might be a lot of mid-range smartphones out there but it's Google and their support is consistent unlike those other companies..

Would love to see a smaller a series smartphone with a full plastic body... you have to put it in a case anyway...

Personally I feel the backside of the 8a is the most subtle/refined version of the 6/7/8 design language. I don't find the rounding radius cheap feeling either. If anything the higher rounding somewhat reminds me of an iPhone 15 Pro. I think the plastic back is a non-issue as most users will be putting their phones in cases anyway.

It feels nicely cheap and the bezel look not big but wired but flip it around they should of done a pixel 4 bezel

I got one for my daughter - with the trade-in deal it cost me £230, with an additional £50 store credit for the Pixel 9 when that appears... with a deal like that, it was hard to say no. it's a decent little phone - and i like the rounded corners, but i get that they are likely subjective.

Moved from the OnePlus 8, bought the Pixel 8a, happy, , in Oz $350 difference to the 8. easy choice

Nice review! Traded in my Pixel 4 and got it for 320€, can't fault that!
