Beans are super high in protein, carbs, anti oxidants and minerals. They are very healthy, but hard to digest. Let me show you how to prepare them, so you never bloat from them at all!

They are an amazing addition to a high carb low fat vegan diet. But you gotta cook them properly. The first tip is to soak them overnight in Kombu sea weed, which is high in the enzyme that breaks down oligosaccharide the sugar in beans that is hard to digest. Then you rinse them really well, and cook for a long time, until they are very tender.

Now you got no bloat beans, and you can do whatever you want with them. I'll show you a hummus recipe I have been making. It's delicious, and low fat. Eat more beans to build muscle, burn fat and lose weight. They are delicious too ;)

It worked! I soaked my with kombu after watching your video for almost two days (just to be sure I gave it full effect), cooked beans in slow cooker for about 8 hours on low. Ate yesterday 1/4 of the cup (of cooked) - belly is calm. Ate today-1/3 of the cup, still peace...Now I can eat beans. I already wanted to give up on them. Thank you so much.

Kombu is a good suggestion. Baking soda also works... or mix a beano capsule into your
or do all of the above! Changing the water is a good way to get rid of the toxins too
it’s not the soaking that helps it’s RINSING.

Brilliant! Adding the Kombu during soaking! Genius!

Oh yeah the baking soda also helps them cook and soft and faster and blending them like you do helps you digest them easier

I would also keep the Kombu and cook it to extract trace minerals. And I'd eat it too.

I love beans, and I have so much gas after eating them. Do you think I could use nori sheets instead, as i have them at home already ?

Ok just tried this the other day. Wasn't a silver bullet, but will say eliminated about 75% of fartage. I used fava beans, so may have different success rates depending on the bean/legume.

Time for you to buy an electric pressure cooker. The Instant Pot 7 in 1 is my favorite because we can steam, make yogurt, pressure cook, slow cook, etc. And no cooking overnight. It takes maybe all of ten minutes and no babysitting it either. Set it and walk away.

The dilemma I had was that soaking my beans (people say) will decrease the flavour the longer you soak them. Would you agree? I ended up soaking only for two hours because taste is everything to me! In regards to burning my house down, that only almost happened when I tried to deep fry potato. Never again. Not without a deep fryer. 😢

Do you recommend taking the bean digestive enzymes even if beans don't make you bloat or fart much? I was hoping it might increase bioavailability. The first couple of days I did fart from eating chili, but my body has pretty much adjusted itself. But then again I used to be severely lactose intolerant which also went away. Eating a variety of Japanese pickles might have had something to do with it. I'm not 100% sure. But it's been amazing to not have to deal with the side effects.

Try fermented hummus after cooking and blending for 8-36 hours. The probiotics and enzymes are created naturally if you use kefir or any type of culture to start fermentation.
