I own the 680x and I would NEVER recommend to get have the GPU mounted vertically!
1. Gets much hotter, up to 15°C more since it is so close to the glass side panel
2. The glass side panel gets extremely hot itself
3. The GPU makes more noise because the noise faces the room rather than facing down
4. It's a nightmare to get to the bottom of your motherboard! You basically need to dismount the GPU to get to it. Crazy.
5. It's a nightmare to remove the front fans panel. It is made in a way that it is very simple to remove it to clean the dust filter, but if you have your GPU vertically mounted, then there's not enough space anymore to easily remove those fans and access the filter.

I disagree with your findings, I have a 360 rad in the front and a 240 att he top.

Honestly after building in a dual chamber layout ill never go back. I can be lazy as crap with my cable management and it still looks amazing lmao.

I have this case. It has been amazing.
Awesome premium feel (Regular PC builder here).

I have got a 280mm AIO up top, kept the 3 120mm LL's at the front and got two LL 140mm fans at bottom and one at back.
Keeps my Saphire Nitro pulse 5700xt and I9-9900k nice and cool.

I plan to do a custom loop in the future, I think i will use two 280mm radiators on top and bottom.

Cheers guys, happy building.

if Corsair made a full tower height version of this case then it would be significantly much better for custom water cooling as I really want a case that can do 360 rad with fans in the top as well as at least another 360 with fans in the front

Not sure why you would want to put a rad on the front of this, you'd just be throwing hot air into your case. Best to position the rad at top for exhaust and use the front for intake only right?

For that price you could easily get those LL 120s (3pack) if u really want them and something like Lian Li O11 Dynamic or BeQuiet SIlent Base 801 (I own it myself) and be good on radiator support , modern design, airflow and relatively compact design compared to this...

I've own both a 680x and a lian li dynamic XL (don't buy the non-XL it's idiotic the motherboard touches the bottom of the case) the corsair looks much better and is higher quality, glass is higher quality (almost invisible, anti-inside rgb reflections) it's easier to cable behind (totally disagree with this video on that the giant rear chamber is better > all) but...it's too small way too small and as explained the fan placement is a nightmare, it's already cramped for a z390/z490 build but since nowadays we have lots of e-atx boards it's really a no go if you plan on having a powerful cpu and gpu I had to go lian-li which is all 120mm (noisier) but has much more space for a dual rad custom watercooling loop (pretty much required form threadripper) it's really too bad if it had 35-50mm more in height AND depth it would have been a killer case, I really wish COrsair made a 690x or something so we have space for at least 2 radiators one at the front and at least one on top/below, oh yeah btw lian-li fan grills are awful they more than double the fan noise, unlike corsair's which are fine, I had to cut dremel all of them which was a pain in the....I recommend cutting the rear, bottom and right side grills (which have no purpose you already have magnetic filters under it, keep the top one as it's not even centerd on the fans and will look ugly cut

agh. I'm planning a 3950x / 64GB RAM build and was all for this case til the review. Love the looks ... but anyone in the business seems to recommend the Lian Li O11for practicality etc. I want quiet and cool ultimately more than looks... but I will be spending £2-3K on components so something fancy is my preference and I don't mind paying a little extra. For reference - it's a Video editing/motion graphics/3D rendering PC! a huge upgrade from a very old 2600K/16GB build which has lasted me 8 damn years.

G'day!
Have you ever dealt with Jonsbo cases? Would love to watch your review on any of that branded one.

great review. such a letdown for Corsair. i really appreciate your findings on the radiator support and hope someone finds it useful if they choose to build in this case.
