Isn't it wonderful when a game we play suddenly makes us fall in love with gaming or a whole new genre within it all over again?
I'm looking forward to playing Expeditions when it comes out. The theme speaks to me too.

Thanks for making a video more about your personal journey with this game and what it brought to you. It was a great watch.

I love you Rob, been through your physical issues all the way, massive respect to how you conducted yourself and shouting out good game designers - this is why I appreciate this Chanel so much all the love❤ from Australia

I'm with you Rob. I truly love it when a game goes the extra mile and add the little things that really make it stand out.

A whole game with Jakub Rozalski art? Ooh, tempting.

Pleasure to watch the video. Plus Jakub Różalski's graphics make the game magical.

Come on the stonemaier games ride with us. Not all of them are for me so it's not about the kool aid drinkers but the ones that are... Are in my top 10 all time. High hopes for expeditions. Jamey is a great leader and always tries to improve the gaming industry.

I get it. For the reasons you stated, I pre-purchased Expeditions straight from Stonemaier Games at RRP. I could have waited and got it less than RRP w/ FS from a retailer. But, I specifically purchased from SG in order to 'reward' Jamey for all he has done and because of the person he is. You spoke well.
I'm glad Expeditions plays well solo, because I'll probably be playing solo most often.
Hopefully mine will ship soon. I got the Deluxe edition too, with metal mechs. Gotta have metal mechs! Right?

The complexity of Scythe automata turned me off of it. But this has a much easier and better one for great solo play.

One Stop Co Op
Shop great place for videos, the “Great” Rodney Smith needs to stop his political nonsense. Man just do game content!

Play Iron Harvest. The Solo Campaign is really good.

When I was a lad we'd play Battleship, Stratego, and Risk with no idea who designed them. Later, the legendary Axis and Allies would blow our minds. Still, (the brilliant) Larry Harris's name was not on the box.

And then we'd get into GMT games where credit was given where credit was due.

These days, with Isaac Childress and Gloomhaven, and Jamey Stegmaier and Scythe/etc it seems like we're in a singer/songwriter era where the designers personalities are woven into the fabric of the games/companies. It's very cool.

Shout out to Rodney Smith. That man has taught a 'metric f-ton' of folks how to to play a wide variety of board games. Those early videos with his kids playing along side him are golden.
