Safely sitting on my comfortable couch watching this crystal clear footage with the cost of only my Internet bill with no extra 250k USD charge or risking my life.

If OceanGate had stuck to unmanned dives, this fantastic footage would have been their genuine legacy.

The footage is incredible. If they hadn't been trying to cut corners to build an "off the shelf" sub this could have been something amazing.

In case anyone is interested. Titanic's sister ship the Britannic which was a tiny bit heavier sunk in the Mediterranean Sea 3 years after the Titanic, is in much better condition and is only 300 feet deep. Its fully intact and on its side at the bottom, apart from the bow being broken off and hole from the mine blast, its in incredible condition and you can dive down to see it without a submarine.
Look up videos or pictures of divers down by the Britannic to get an understanding of just how massive Titanic and her 2 sister ships were. The propellers are still there and they make the divers next to them seem tiny.

Hearing that the 19 year old was " terrified" but went to please his dad ... I won't ever forget that. His family and friends knew he didn't want to go.. may God hold him and Bless his innocent soul 🙏🕊️

It’s simply terrifying to know that this is still at the bottom of the ocean, 100+ years later. I get chills every time I look at pictures or watch footage of the wreck. It’s so eerie and devastating.

I can only imagine the horror people felt during that moment 😢. Such a large ship sinking into the deep ocean, completely surrounded by water and darkness

Now that was a very safe way to see the Titanic....watching on my laptop in my home. Prayers to the families of the men.

The more I learn about this mini sub the more I am amazed it held together as long as it did.

Great narration. No hype, no overstated observations. Perfect.

I’m not sure who is narrating this, but he did a fabulous job. This footage is amazing. I hope OceanGate can be remembered for this valuable contribution to Titanic’s legacy, and not the sad circumstances of how their mission ended. This is beautiful.

This is as close as I would want to get to actually going down. It's a lot safer and much less expensive. Thank you.

Thank you for saving this footage! The channel of OceanGate has been shut down for obvious reasons and I loved this video. 👍

This footage is amazing. I love the map that depicts where on the ship the submersible was extremely helpful

2:04 just looking to the right and seeing that pitch black darkness of the ocean is terrifying, there is no way in hell I’d ever wanna go see that wreck even if I was in a safety certified submarine. The ocean is so creepy and mysterious, no telling what’s down there

Wow, this was excellent. The size of this wreck is incredible and gives you a small idea of how majestic this ship was. Sad that it is slowly decomposing but that is the way of nature.
