Americans have fallen in love with the Ukrainian people and its charismatic leader. Once we fall in love, we never lose interest.

The public may fatigue but Russia's actions have led to policy changes that will effect generations. Sure it's probably going to escalate and will directly involve NATO.

That sounds like wishful thinking to be honest…it’s the Russian military that I understand that is fatigued and demoralized…the Ukrainians are energetic and optimistic.
The western people *might* lose interest after a time, but the governments won’t, and Ukraine will *never* run out of ammunition and weapons, unlike Russia.
