Years ago on one of those shows that might have even been that show pinks, there was a guy with a Foxbody very similar to yours that was doing very well and making his way up through the mass of other race cars towards the top 10 and at some point they went over and interviewed him. They were shocked to find he was racing a small-block 350. So one of the camera guys being apparently a Ford Fanboy got testy with him and said why would you run that engine in a car like this? I remember the driver looked at the guy with no expression on his face and just said "because I want to win". Always made me laugh because the driver just got right to the point, wasn't even beating around the bush. Found the body he liked and set it up with an engine he liked and couldn't give to schitt's who made what.
