2023 Porsche Macan T review by The Straight Pipes. The Porsche Macan is putting down 261 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque from a 2L 4 cylinder turbo. At $90,150 CAD, would you take it over the Porsche Macan, Porsche Macan S, Porsche Macan GTS, BMW X4, BMW X3, Mercedes GLC, Audi SQ5?

I like how you guys really get into how the car drives. So many other channels talk about all the features and spend too much time talking about aesthetics of the headlights.

Fun fact: when not using launch control, the Macan T is just as quick as a Honda Odyssey.

I was waiting for Yuri to say the car is for those who want, ‘not too fast, not too furious.’

Anyway, keep up the great work!

90K CAD for the 4 banger now is just wow... I have even see the S spec out there hovering around almost 120K. What a time.

First, love you guys! I bought a 23 black on black Macan T for myself. First Porsche at age 66 as my daily driver. I live in a city and like the quickness, small size, and gas mileage. I think it is fun to drive, fast enough, and looks awesome.

This would’ve been really cool with the rs3’s turbo 5

I have a 2023 S and it is well worth the additional cost because you get the 2.9L V6 which is such a great engine.

Macan't see spending so much on a 6 second 0-60.

I laughed so hard at 13:10 when the guy listened to „I woke up in a new Bugatti“ way too loud 😂😂

As an employee at Porsche, I have to say the Macan T is a great option for an entry level Porsche that you can drive every day. It handles very well for an SUV, and that's coming from a Mercedes owner.

That fly by right before Yuri was about to say his theory just cracked me up

Actually on latin countries there is a price difference of 30k from the macan T vs the S. So thinking on import taxes globally it makes sense to keep the 4 cyl

As a 91000$ Macan T owner, let me explain: First, I don’t want V6 it’s too noisy and not eco friendly. 250 HP is way enough in the traffic city driving.
Second: I like it’s small and cuter size 🥰 as I don’t have big family to drive with, otherwise you should go Cayenne.
Third : Porche it’s a life style. I’m not looking the same thing as Honda Odysseys or Rs5 Clients. I appreciate more the beautiful designs and delicate all leather red interior with Burmester sounds, so I think it’s worth to have a unique customized BigToy❤ Just want to share my thought, please comment peacefully ☮️

The T's raison d'etre is slight handling improvement from the lighter engine—momentum driving. Pricewise, it t makes sense if you don't add any options. But spend your money on an S without the air-suspension.

Happy with my 2021 S—Air-suspension would have been nice; as would the exhaust; but this would have taken the price well over $80k so I would have bought an Audi Q8 instead. Intentionally did not get a 2022 so I could keep the physical buttons; taking it in for the 20, 000 mile service on Tuesday.

I have a ‘22 Macan S in Miami Blue with 21” wheels and that paint gets a lot of compliments. The S has plenty of power and far more than most people need. It is the sweet spot. The GTS has 59 more horsepower and 0-60 times of only about .3 of a second faster so it’s not really that much faster. I think you buy the GTS mainly for the badge and I was told it has a rougher ride due to its tighter suspension.

The base and T versions with the 4 cyl. is all that most people need. One complaint that I have is with the hood over the analog tach gauge. With the standard gray dials, the hood casts a shadow over the gauge and makes it hard to see the numbers on the dial. I wish I had ordered lighter colored dials as an option. Also, I hate the haptic controls and wish there were more buttons but there is nothing I can do about that. My S is loaded and priced like most GTS models. I gave up the extra power for more of the options and am glad I did.

It’s a great handling car with excellent performance and is the class of the segment in my opinion. It is a Porsche.

Imagine paying $80k for what's essentially a slower Golf R.

Perfect for most people, who really needs more performance?? Smaller engine = better handling and daily fun. And analog gauges ❤ I would choose this over all the other Macans...

Just get a Chip on it for $1500 and it will be similar speed to a S but cheaper, Looks like a GTS (as the T is basically a GTS spec besides Engine and wheels) and you'll have the perfect looking, priced, fuel efficient and Handling Macan out there. It just won't be the most powerful drag Macan but so be it.
