I got the moonswatch. Why not? I do wear orient, citizen, and seiko. Who can pass on an omega labeled swatch? I don't follow the "experts". Just buy what you like.

Swatch owns Omega and these two are literary the same watch. I own the Swatch chrono which I paid 160£. That's the cheapest Swiss made chronograph you can ever buy. Plus .. It's very similar looking to the notorious Omega moonwatch...ILove it !!

Idk, that metal swatch just looks like a swatch, it doesn't have a speedmaster case. Why'd anyone pay $150 for a random/generic steelcased swatch? Imo the "main thing" about the swatch speedmaster is that it looks like a speedmaster. You lose that, you lose the point.

Isn't this EXACTLY what Swatch did in the 80s? Just offered CHEAP quartz watches in 'exciting bold' styles, that owners could wear as 'fashion accessories', while spending less than like FIFTY bucks?!?!
While at the same time managing to retain the 'luxury' perception of their more expensive MECHANICAL time pieces?

I have owned watches since i was 12. I have never broken a crown or a crystal. That's from skateboarding, rollerblading, hand ball, at the beach, etc. How people brake watches from daily use it crazy to me. My father wore his Rolex everyday from 1971 to 2008 before he finally bought another watch. He worked in construction. Tearing up and rebuilding homes. He never destroyed that watch. What is everyone else doing? Are you super spies living the last 30 minuets of mission impossible movies everyday? Seriously, the average adult takes Ubers, eats out and walks around shopping. How in that day does a watch brake?

Got the Pluto moon swatch, hated the strap at first but its a very light wearable comfy strap that now i wouldnt change it .

The MoonSwatch annoys the crap out of me for the same reason that most iconic Swatch brand watches annoy me. Colorful plastic designed to be trendy and flashy. This Swatch, however, I may just get to protest the MoonSwatch with my dollars.
