***Important Note***
I really enjoy watches and that's why I started this channel so I could review them regularly but my satisfaction is not found in owning or experiencing watches, no matter how many I may accumulate or how luxurious and expensive they may be . . .

Wise King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 5:10 "He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity."

The truth is, material possessions of any kind, money, power, etc. never can and never will satisfy our hungering souls. Only knowing, loving, and serving God can truly satisfy.
The only way we can have a real relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe, is through the Lord Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
Through Christ's sacrificial death on the cross, for my sins and your sins, and His resurrection from the dead we can have peace with God (Romans 5:1), forgiveness of sins (Acts 10:43), eternal life (John 3:16), and so much more!
In Christ, we can know true joy now and for all eternity.

"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." - 1 John 5:12

Great transparency here. Not many people would admit what you said here. Good video.

I was all set to get one once they become available online, but the thought of bioceramic residue on my wrist is so not appealing and is so disappointing from a QC perspective. Even if the materials are low cost, quality should still be a priority.

I feel exactly the same Josh! 👍👏 I'm even going to make this the last MoonSwatch video I watch! 😆

I think the MoonSwatch is a great concept, and it's all very exciting. But I do wish they had a better movement with a sweeping second hand.

It’s more fun to start at $1 and watch the craziness. I was originally going to buy one when they became available but now I think I’ll wait and see if I really want one or not. I have a micro brand or 3 I’m interested in also .

Im with you, gonna put those 260$ toward an actual quality piece myself. Just pulled the trigger on a Sinn 556 A for 900$ and everytime i think about the suckers that are actually paying more for a plastic swatch on ebay at the moment i ROFL on the inside and outside aswell.

On paper it's a great speedmaster for people who love functional, durable quartz. Definitely not plastic. Definitely a workhorse quartz movement. Can be modified through the acrylic window.

Omega has the magic, Josh.
Enjoyed your Vid.
I'm on the side of buying one MTTM. Or should I put my £207 GBP towards a Hamilton Murph?...

Hey, Josh. I’m pretty indifferent to the MoonSwatch, but that’s mostly because I only kind of like the Speedmaster itself. I have enjoyed the various vids and stories around the release, though. But in my case, I just bought a used mid-tier Oceanus for less money than the MoonSwatch, so I suppose that also answers the question of my interest level. Glad you had a good time fellowshipping with Avg Joe and friend. Those times are always more valuable than any watch. Take care!

Honestly, I also got into the hype, but looking at it now, I'm very hesitant and might not be buying given my own reasons. Thanks for sharing your views.

I do like the Moon and the Pluto.
I would consider getting them if they were available.
You are paying for the design and the Omega name on them but let's be honest, they look fun.
Generally speaking I'm not into chronographs but I might make an exception for these.
However the little enthusiasm I have for them might be worn off by the time they become available.
If the Bulova Lunarpilot was smaller I would pick it over this but 45 MM case is too big for me.

Got zero interest for this watch but the social experience was great to observe

i really wanted to get Mission to Mercury or mission to Mars.
After watching reviews and hands on video, i came to conclusion that " instead of Getting a plastic Omega Speed-master Swatch " i would rather save for much well built Bulova Lunar Pilot .

Like you, I live in PA., about 35 minutes from the King of Prussia Mall. I was going to head over that Saturday morning, but then I saw several posts from other Swatch sites around the world and said, F-it. I actually like the concept, if taken in context. It's not a "Speedy", regardless of what it says on the dial! It is a homage to the Speedy Moon Watch, as presented by Swatch, with Omega's blessings. I'm guessing there isn't a single part on these watches that was made by Omega. Omega made the design, and Swatch made it in plastic. But, think of this, how many of us are fans of other things, like the Aston-Martin DB10, and may have a toy, replica of one because we know that unless we hit the lottery for some big bucks, we will never own one. And to me, that's what the appeal of this watch is. And yes, I will get one for the same reason that I will never own a DB-10.

I cant tell you how hyped I was before the release, I was actually sad I live nowhere near a Swatch boutique that sells them, and the more time goes by after this hype and release, the more I think how much of a wasted investment it is, buying one of these... £207 here in the UK, for a plastic watch with basic quartz movement, just because it it shaped as the legendary Speedy and it says Omega on it (even though it has nothing to do with Omega). The lowest entry-level Casios would do a better job in terms of time keeping and reliability/durability. If anything, this kind of made me want to buy a "realer" Speedmaster - I've been considering the "Reduced" Speedie for a while. I know it's not the actual 'Moonwatch', but it's not plastic, and most of all, I have super tiny wrists, so I prefer smaller watches. It's crazy how hyped I was and went from wanting one of these so bad, to really questioning whether I should go for it, to thinking it's a waste of money, if you look at all other options you can get for that amount... I wonder if anyone else feels the same?

Nailed it regarding buyers accepting insane flipper prices - buyers determine value - don't do it!

i got one and i love it, what a neat watch. from the global reports they couldn't have sold more than 1500 watches on launch day.
