Even if Ukraine were not to join NATO, Russia still lost in the "NATO mustn't expand" part. Finland and Sweden are joining NATO and Russia can't do much about it. He's plan already backed fired

No country is admitted to NATO in the middle of an active war, but Ukraine has still received more arms aid than any country in the history of NATO, both inside and outside NATO.

I can't see Ukraine joining NATO during an ongoing conflict. However, after Ukraine's victory Ukraine's entry into NATO seems likely after Ukraine had made improvements to it's democracy and this would happen quickly with NATO membership as a prize (and probably EU membership as well).

@The info graphic - dude just made NATO look like an angel 😇 Go ask the Syrian, Iraqi 2x, Yemen, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalian and many other countries how NATO destroyed their infrastructure and put the country decades behind.

But why do you assume Russia will do a conventional war with NATO or US..
They know it's impossible and so they would start with raining nukes from land and submarines in large numbers..

The Russian stalrategy in such situation would be to use at least 3000 nukes in the first strike..to make their counterparts equal to them..

When Deng Xiaoping waged war against Vietnam in 1979, one of Deng's goals was to prove that Russia was not a reliable ally for Vietnam. Vietnam signed a treaty of alliance with Russia a year ago with expectation that Russia would come to Vietnam's aid. Then? That aid never came, and Vietnam was forced to face China alone, attacked twice by China in 1979 and 1988. Deng won big, and the world Vietnamese knew about Russia collapsed. Same like how Russia invaded fellow Warsaw Pact allies Hungary and Czechoslovakia.

Russia had demonstrated it can't hold any treaties or words. When Czech Republic joined NATO, we joined in a democratic manner. Ukraine should be part of NATO when peace is restored. We cheer you, Ukraine, from Czechia.

Ukraine won't be joining NATO today but should after the war ends and any territorial disputes are settled in the peace agreement. It's the only way to guarantee that Russia doesn't try again in a few years and throw us all back into this exact situation.

Good stuff. I agree 100% with your last point. Hopefully we're training up select groups of Ukrainians here in the US and elsewhere on weapons systems like the Abrams, F-16, A-10 etc.
