Small mistake at 2:04 : the automatic is actually a 8-speed ZF Torque Converter, as BMW uses in basically every car apart from the 1 series and its brothers

3:15 Do these manufacturers even care that we long for physical buttons? I'm surprised these cars are not steered through an app hidden in the touchscreen menu & accelerator + brake pedals are also not buried in the touchscreen. Loving your reviews, Alex.

Funny it was slated by everyone when it came out, then Chris Harris drove one and said it’s fantastic, now they all say it’s fantastic. There’s nothing out there that looks anything like it. Great value as well.

Im confused. The bmw owners wanted bmws to maintain boxy and aggressive proportions. When they get that… they dont want it? Maybe the bumper grills look a little off but this is definitely a bmw

"Looks are subjective, so what does that matter ?" True. And yet hosts spend a good 30s talking about looks and highlighting best angles and nice details in every video (so a good 5% of the total video) except this one where we just gloss over it. That's evidence right there 🤣

Test driven m2 yesterday. I dont get the hideous or ugly vibe, its proper muscular and a savage drive.

Mine gets so much love and attention on the road, the drive is awesome, its fun and individual. The hate comes from those that can't afford one.

Even though its heavy but BMW cleverly designed the suspensions n the power delivery to disguised the actual like all bmw before, it takes time for people to grow into its looks.... imo its nice

I literally love this car in term of look and presence!
The only thing I really can't understand is the weight!
And even if I had the intention of buying I don't know if that 1700 kg is a number I'm willing to forgive!

I just can't get past the look of it - horrible! Was going to order one, gutted. Even tried to overcome my hatred with a test drive, but no. I can't go there. Bought a low mileage 911 Carrera T instead, one of my better decisions as it is awesome.
