BMW M2 Competition - First Drive

BMW has beefed up its M2 with a few more go-faster bits – and a whole new engine, borrowed from the M3 and M4.

Does it make what's already the best M car (in our opinion) even better? We drove it on the track at Ascari and on the roads in the south of Spain to find out.

I would have liked a more decisive and clear summary of which is better and why.. not just because you can't buy the old one anymore (which you can do 2nd hand) so these reviews are usually short and not very insightful. I've known the differences months in advance already when you read the launch stats, I wanted to know what it drives like, compared to previous M2, what is better and what is not and is it worth getting the new one over the old one.. That is a comparative review and first drive.
