I got a backpod, and it seems to be working. I just started documenting my costochondritis journey on YouTube. I still have those flare ups / burning sensations, but at least those symptoms that mimic a heart attack are gone. I just hope to make a full recovery soon. Dealing with this since October.

Vacuum cupping technique may work for some cases at least for me. The pains were so intense that sleep was impossible. So the traditional vacuum cupping was used (with fire inside the cup). It's so powerful that the skin was separated from the subcutaneous tissues to form a saq filled with interstitial fluid. It looked awful and somewhat scary. But the intense pains were gone thereafter with occasional brief flares up of manageable intensity.

I ve had severe costochondritis for several years
my " pain management" doctor first tried injections directly into my sternum and joints. It didnt help. That was 7 years ago. I am just given muscle relaxers.
There are days I have pain from breathing. Can only laydown. Or just cry. The pain is in my shoulders and collar bones. I have been looking for more infor and more help. But I not found it. How can I get these treatments? Why is this a condition that has little treatment options?

I’m having this pain in my ribs then it goes to my shoulder which kills me. Doctors I’m sure don’t even know what it is. All blood work was fine had 2 done as I had this two weeks ago, then it went and I had the flu last week for 4 days then that went then got this costo symptom again. I’m on morphine but it doesn’t work for me. As of writing this I’ve been up since Monday as I can’t sleep cos of the pain. I don’t wish this pain on nobody

Can costochondritis pain sometimes initially be confused with gallbladder or liver area pain? I'm still trying to figure out the source of my pain. Nothing on CT. Kidneys checked out fine. Have to visit gastro MD soon. But my sister is the one who told me maybe it is actually costochondritis. I have pain through my back by my right shoulder blade and pain that wraps around the entire side of my body along my ribs and then also aches in the front through the rib area. So tired of this.

Curious about the laser therapy. Is that a type of laser that can be purchased? I know probably not the shockwave one. If I can’t get this Costo to go away or calm down I need to see about coming there. I am in Central California and looking for someone up here to try shockwave therapy.

This make sense. I ve been golfing alot especially at the driving range. Poor techniques causing my left rhomboid to be in pain for months. N now im having costochondritis i assume right at the sternum, to my left chest all. Did ecg n xray all cleared up. Guess ill fix my back furst now
