This policewoman was on point the whole way, explaining that she had refused her rights, talking to her and treating her nicely whilst still reminding her that she'd given up her right to talk. Handled like a boss. 100%

I remember being really poor when I was a kid and my mom gave me hair ties for my 8th birthday because that's all she could afford. I held onto those hair ties until my mid 20s. It's not the gift, and she would never steal anything, but it was the thought about me that meant everything. It's really disgusting to steal anything and I feel sad for her little girl.

The driver spontaneously uttered "I wasn't stealing" and the cop hadn't even said anything other than to shut the car off. So that tells me she knew the girl had stolen stuff.
