Its interesting how these companies portray UX research and UI designs, always almost based on a simple social media app, whereas the fact is that 99% of the UX is done for enterprise level designs for web portals and dashboards and tables, where, all the above mentioned ideal and easy methods go out of the window. For example, designing a budgeting app might be an easy exercise when there is only one function that the app might perform. The reality is budgeting might be a feature inside of a Finance / Banking app, where there is a higher degree of inter-dependence between the budgeting feature and other features. This makes the whole UX process a bit more complex. No one is addressing these issues, the gap between theory and practice.
