SpongeBob SquarePants premiered on Nickelodeon 25 years ago! To celebrate, SpongeBob and Discord have teamed up for animated profile decorations featuring SpongeBob, Patrick, Plankton and more in references to the golden era. While these decorations are great, the whole thing is a ripoff.

I was so excited for it, too. I had never bought from the Discord shop before, so I was planning on buying them all and starting a cute Spongebob collection.

After seeing those prices, I bought one frame and one background and that’s it. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.

The title of this video is incredibly misleading.

This isn't a scam at all, it's just overpriced. They're offering you a product, and when you pay for that product, that's exactly what you're getting. They're not lying to you or selling you something under a false premise. Are TV's a scam because they're overpriced? What is "overpriced" is completely subjective in the mind of the consumer, but what isn't subjective is the product itself. When you pay for a product, and you GET what you pay for, that isn't a scam by ANY definition.

If you feel it's overpriced, than just don't buy it, but calling it a scam is just blatantly untrue.
