You need a Cox Tee Dee .049 or.051 engine to haul the Viking upstairs. Any Goldberg free flight kit flies extremely well. By the way, us old timers pronounced it BAY BEE BEE in the day. Good to see the old timers circling for thermals again.

Blazer is Nostalgia legal and in general is a really well laid out plane for its era. It's a shame we don't see more of them. A bored out Medallion would really haul it up, however you're getting a good climb with that Fox. It sounds a bit off but the altitude is there. Viking is a different animal but they can be made to fly quite well. A little large for a TD, however a well tuned TD will get it up there high enough to max.

I have an old Sig 1/2 A Galaxie I plan on building very soon. I have 4 brand new old stock Cox .049 engines from the 70’s just dying to fly. Im 29 years old and trying to keep the hobby alive and the smell of nitro in the air.
