I am a believer in the tweed jacket. It goes everywhere. With, jeans, slacks, turtleneck, button-down. Every man needs one. (Properly sized/tailored of course) It's a solid investment.

RULE #6 - As seen in all of the looks shown, make sure that your shirt placket, belt buckle and fly of your jeans are all in a STRAIGHT LINE! If this is overlooked, it will ruin your perfect outfit. I agree with the all the "rules" andI really liked most of the outfits, but I would add not to mix jeans and jackets in a color and shade that looks too similar; that combo looks like those made up "suits" that are not really a suit: hand-me-down wool black jacket paired with cotton faded black slacks, NO!. I'd suggest either different colors or contrasting shades of a color. Other than that, all looks are great.
