Basically, the function of the ESP32 CAM is just a camera. The actual image processing happens in the PC.

So, you can just use a USB camera instead of the ESP32.

Interesting but have a few questions;
Q1. Does object identification happens automatically or the camera has to be trained? Example the software will identify the apple and name it as an apple.
Q2. Can the program issue a message indicating the location of the identified object? Example a message out "the detected apple is at the bottom of picture", "detected carrot in the middle of picture ".
