And seeing the other players, big tough manly men, from both teams, showing such strong and genuine emotion. Recognizing immediately that this man's life is more important than the game. So touching. I remember waiting all day for this game and watching this happen. It shook me to my core, after 3-4 commercial breaks I turned to my mom and said “ mom I think he died” because 9 times out of 10 they would just remove them from the field but the fact that they stayed in that spot for that long kinda just let everyone know that this was a different type of injury. From a die hard bengals fan, I’m so glad he is making a remarkable recovery, WHO DEY

Watching the aftermath of this injury, I don't think anyone would have expected the great outcome that Damar ended up achieving. I don't know if he will ever play again, but I'm so glad he has his life to decide!

I was afraid this would not be a good outcome after seeing Damar on the ground so long without CPR and now relieved to hear of his miraculous recovery. God is good, and He was looking out for this good and faithful servant who started a toy drive in his hometown and brought an entire nation to their knees in prayer.
