Agree 100% with all your tips Ben, I love dragging myself out of bed and witnessing the sights and sounds that most of the population never get to see or feel. For me photography is also about emotion, the emotions it stirs in me just being on location and witnessing what the world has to offer, if I get some shots then awesome… if not at least I was there and I witnessed and felt the moment. I love the drive home with a smile on my face as others are leaving for work or heading to start their day knowing I have spent the best few hours and the happy endorphins are buzzing inside me. Every time my alarm goes off and the lazy doubt makes me want to stay warm under the duvet I just remind myself what I could be missing out on and I’m out of bed like a shot.. FOMO 🤣

I can really relate to those tips and advice. I particulalry like the comment about sometines just enjoying the moment rather than worrying about getting that shot.

Lovely video. Made myself get up yesterday after the snow and I’m so glad I did now. The landscape was beautiful and even if you don’t get any good pics it’s great for your peace of mind in these testing times. Thanks Ben 👍

Ben, These are some great tips for us beginners. Thanks for the continued motivation amd mindset. I recently got a good tripod
Paid almost 500 us dollars for it, but it's an upgrade in quality from my 100 dollar.
Its definitely a lifetime investment as well as top glass. Camera body always evolves and not as important.
I'm learning amd it makes this journey that much more fun. Cheers brother.

Hello Ben, I do not believe that you told us your location? Interesting comments about not using filters in recent months. With the exception of long exposures, on what conditions, if any, do you pull your filters out? It was as you say looked like a lovely morning out. I find on these occasions a drink of something hot adds to the experience...

Good work Ben. Just taken delivery of my new Benro tripod and ball head. Looking forward to getting out there. I must stop watching as it is costing me a small fortune. Love the new coat.
